MMSA provided structural engineering design services and serves as structural Engineer-of-Record for the new six-story Carroll A. Campbell, Jr. United States Courthouse, one of several courthouse projects congressionally authorized for design and construction in the Southeast Sunbelt Region, in Greenville, SC. The 193,000 GSF courthouse project includes seven (7) courtrooms and nine (9) chambers to accommodate 4 District, 3 Senior, and 2 Magistrate Judges. The courthouse space also accommodates other judicial programs, including the U.S. Probation department, Federal Public Defender department and the U.S. Department of Justice. Secured interior parking spaces (70 spaces) and a roof penthouse are also included in the courthouse design. The 2- acre site is located in the central business district of Greenville, SC.
