Fort Jackson Army Reserve Center consists of a new two-story structural steel frame building. The building is rectangular shaped, 330’ x 100’ structural steel two-story elevated framing system with perimeter, exterior non-load-bearing steel stud wall building system and brick veneer. The sloped roof framing consist of cold-formed steel trusses and beam framing. The building ground floor slab and foundation system consist of 4-inch (minimum) slab on grade plus 4”-inch, #57 stone capillary water barriers with a continuous spread wall footing foundation system. The mechanical room and file storage slabs have a 5-inch thickness.
