MMSA provided structural engineering design and construction administration services for the Jean M. Smith Library, the Greer branch of the Greenville County Library System. First opened in 1995, the existing 11,500 sf library was in need of both renovation and expansion to accommodate the growing Greer community. The 5,600 sf expansion added additional study space, provided a new staff office area, program area, new children’s collection and reading nook area, and increased the meeting room size. Other expansion/renovation additions included two new four-person conference rooms, a drive-up book/materials return and parking lot expansion.
