Michael M. Simpson + Associates, Inc. (MMSA) provided structural engineering design and construction administration services for the new 4- and 5-level, 59,000 sf mixed-use / residential building on S. Main Street. The building is separated into two distinct sections – mixed-use on the west end and residential condominiums on the east – includes an at-ground parking garage. The structural system utilizes cast-in-place concrete post-tensioned slab with a rigid moment frame design and a shallow spread footings foundation system.
